image1

Thats right folks - the Civic Days Committee has been working hard on bringing new foods to the July 3 Block Party. A list below are food trucks who have currently signed up. Keep looking at the list - it will be updated as other food trucks sign on! Also, don't be shy - click the hyperlink to learn more about the truck and their crew!

Baby Berk - Thanks to Commissioner Jen Flanagan for the reference!! This UMass Amherst truck comes straight from Western MA, with options like the 100% Grass Fed Beef babyBerk Burger, Steak Poutine, or one of their famous vegan Franklin Burgers.

Cape Cod Cannolis - With more than 190 flavors how could you not want to try out one of Lillys classic Italian Cannoli! Last year, Lilly came close to selling out - so don't wait, grab your favorite Cannolo while supplies last!

Capo - Before you grab the Cannoli, think about having your Italian dinner first! Fitchburg locals Christine and Keith Russo bring you the king of all that is Italian sauces with their food truck Capo!

Chicken on the Road - arguably the #bestdamnchicken - This Billerica Cluck Truck is bringing you chicken cutlet subs, combos, and just simply chicken goodness.

Clyde's Cupcakes - Whats that?! Edible cookie dough, say it ain't so! Not only that friends, Clyde has various cupcakes and brownies just for you!

Farm at Baptist Common - If you can think of the flavor, well by gosh darn it - they have it! With gourment popcorn, fudge, and cotton candy - you'll love to see what the Farm has in store for you!

Fidelity Ice Cream Truck - The Frosty Flyer - right in fron of the Fidelity branch, 675 Main Street - its impossible to miss! Did we mention, the Fidelity Bank is our Duck Race Sponsor - thank you for the support! QUACK!

Jackson Effie Coffee Cabin  - Do the kids have you tired from running around at the Block Party, maybe the fireworks go on display a little passed your bedtime, OR perhaps you want to enjoy your favorite caffinated beverage (iced or hot) - reason or not JECC has you covered!

Jimmy D's BBQ - Always on display with our friends at River Styx Brewing, Jimmy is a Fitchburg Local who takes great pride in BBQ  - it certainly tastes like it! Want to check him out before the Block Party??? He'll be at the Nashua River Brewers Fest on June 30th - be there or be square.

Kebabish - who doesn't like a little spice of Indian food in their lives? Kebab over rice is this Lynn, Mass food truck's most popular dish!

Melt - This Worcester based food truck travels all over the state to deliver the best Melts a human can find - and you'll be able to give them a try on July 3! Their 5 star rating will make your mouth water!

New England Soft Serve - Allow me to set the stage; it's 90 degrees outside, your water just isn't cutting it to cool you off, and someone walks past you with not just any ice cream but soft serve ice cream. There, off in the distance through the mirage, you see something that resembles an ice cream cone. Can it be true? WHY YES IT IS! Nothing like your favorite soft serve ice cream (my personal favorite is a twist - so if you see me running around the block party and you just happen to have an extra twist in hand, I wouldn't complain).

Nutmeg Concession - How could it possibly be a block party without the traditional carnival food truck? Need not fret my friends, Nutmeg is here to deliver exactly that for you!

Pangea Cuisines - Specialty Diet? Pangea Cuisnines has you covered. After all summer time is swim suit season. So if you are watching your calorie intake a little closer than most months, but don't want to be that one friend who won't eat because everything else is fried, potato, or has too much sugar. WELL - Pangea has the menu for you! FYI - you don't need to be a health nut to stop on by and try their amazing food - check out their rave reviews.

Sabor Latino  - If you need little color in your life, check out Sabor Latino's colorful food truck - its hard to miss! Empanadas are their special touch! I'm going to leave an item on their menu here, and you'll think you are in a five star restaurant overlooking a villa: "Ground turkey with sauteed onions, bell peppers, garlic, raisins & olives simmered in a tomato white wine sauce." Cheers to that!

Say Cheese! - the pun is REAL! Whoever came up with the idea of putting bacon in a grilled cheese deserves the Nobel Peace Prize! Friends - you can not go wrong with this delicious truck and all its cheesy goodness.

Shishkaberry's - "Home of Dingleberry!" Do you have a new hot date for July 3? Well don't I have the solution for you! Spice your evening up by taking that special person to Shishkaberry's for romantic chocolate covered strawberries whilst you gaze into each others eyes during the fireworks show. You will be guaranteed for a second date, no doubt. Oh....... And for those of you who are totally over the young love, have one child on the hip, another in a stroller, and the twins hanging on either pant leg - well this will certainly be a summertime treat!

StrEAT Food Rx - StrEAT Food Rx prescribes the craftiest of foods for those with sensitive diets! With non-gmo, locally-sourced, sustainably-raised, gluten-free and dairy-free foods you'll want to taco bout it with all ya friends!

The Grub Guru - Whats a food truck festival without General Gao's Chicken with fried rice? Sami has your back with many more options!

Travelin Bones - Ribtastic! Slow and easy BBQ with the finest of flavors!

Teddys Lunch Box - Straight from the city of the Blue Devils - why yes, we did make Melissa show us her passport before crossing city lines. And yes, I did remind her that Fitchburg won the Thanksgiving game!!! Teddy's is a welcomed local food truck with a specialty in wraps! Might I add she was the first truck to request a place for the 2018 Block Party!

Uncle E's BBQ - Nothing like some good ole slaw to go with your BBQ ribs, chicken, or kielbasa!

Whacky Candy Shop - Located in the kids zone, Civic Days wanted to make sure their was plenty of sugar to keeps those kids going ALL NIGHT LONG!

Whoo(pie) Wagon - Calling all desert lovers - If MERICA was a desert, it would have to be their red, white, and blue sprinkled Whoo(pie). For those Captain Obvious's out there, yes this truck is based out of Worcester.

Zapata  - Indeed my Fitchburg natives, a local favorite and perhaps some of the best Quac around! And if you don't like guacamole, you are not human. Quesadillas, tacos, rice & beans - they have it all!
