thursDAY, july 11, 6-7 p.M. laughter is the best medicine with Jerry Caruso

  • Enjoy clean family humor with our favorite stand-up comedian.  Laughter helps the brain, lungs, and has other benefits, too.  All ages.

Monday, July 15, 4-5 p.m.  Apollo 11's Historic Moon Landing Webcast

  • Join us for a Live Webcast Event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Mission. This live webcast, brought to you by the American Museum of Natural History, will feature a guided recreation of the Apollo 11 voyage - the space-flight that landed the first two astronauts on the Moon.

monDAY, july 15, 6-7 P.M.  universe of stories ventriloquist comedy show

  • Check out Kevin Driscoll and his troupe of space-themed ventriloquist dummies, including his new astronaut puppet, Fred the Frog.  All ages.

Friday, July 19, 2-4 p.m.  Smash Brothers Tournament

  • Ages 6-18.  Registration required.

wednesDAY, July  24, 12:30 P.M. Sound explorers & super sonics

  • Matthew Cantello leads us in an adventure of sound and music.  Feel free to bring a percussion instrument, or something out of your recycling bin to use in our Sound Explorers jam!  Ages 6 and up.

Thursday, August 1, 6-7 p.m.  A Universe of Songs and stories by Davis Bates

  • Hear how stars came to be in the sky, and foam in the ocean--be prepared to sing, move and clap your hands.  You'll learn how to play the spoons and an Irish dancing wooden dog named Bingo will appear!  Ages 3 and up.

Friday, August 2, 1-2 p.m. Drumlin Farms presents Owl Moon

  •   Listen to Owl Moon by Jane Yolen and meet a live animal character from the book.  All ages.

Wednesday, August 7, 2-3 p.m.--Loony Lunar Magic Show with Debbie O'Carroll

  • Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing with magic, comedy and lively songs about our amazing satellite.  Learn about the astronauts who made this incredible journey, and Katherine Johnson, the mathematician who made it all possible.  All ages.

Saturday, August 10, 10-11 a.m.  Kosmic Kelly's Spectacular Science Show

  • A full hour of exciting, interactive science with all the best experiments: fizzy rainbow volcanoes, elephant toothpaste, gaseous bubbling beakers, bubble snakes and more!  All ages.

Monday, August 12, 6-7 p.m.  Science Magic: how do Magic Tricks really work?

  • The Museum of Science presents another fantastic program and investigates the "magic" of several classic tricks.  All ages.

Thursday, August 15, 4-5:30 p.m.  Summer Wrap-up Party

  • Celebrate the end of a wonderful Summer Reading program with ice cream, games, bubbles and prizes.  All ages.

homework center--Monday through Thursday


  • 3 - 5 p.m. - Homework Center. Do your homework at the library! The homework center provides students ages 6 and up with a safe and supportive environment for their studies. Computers, reference materials and extra school supplies are available for students.

Family Storytimes


Family storytimes are every  Monday and Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

Each time, Ms. Jane will delight your preschooler with stories, songs, and movement. Come and "shake your sillies out!"

On the first Tuesday of every month, Mister Wally joins us with his guitar for more fun!

Tuesday Crafts with Ms. June


Time to get creative! Join our resident artist, Ms. June, to create fun things every Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Youth Library. For ages 6-12, no registration required.
